Lord, I know you want my heart
but knowing it and doing it are often far apart.
Help me to do what pleases You.
Lord, I commit my heart anew.


Jesus, forever interceding
with the Father pleading
for all I am needing
In the narrow path
to the narrow gate.
All that can squeeze through
is all that is born of You.

Under the shadow of Your wings
we rest and give you offerings
And there
our hearts dare
to sing.....

Whenever you answer evil with good
you're doing what you know you should.
And in this way you overcome evil
because what that evil is trying to do
is drag you down to it's level
to make you become just like it,
to respond with flesh and not spirit
and the only escape from a horrible fate
is to respond with the opposite heart -
with love, forgiveness and mercy
(would be smart).

So though my heart knows pain
it will not remain
because like a child
it's too busy running wild
with the delight and joy
that is the daily portion of little boys -
the wonderful glow
of a soul bowed low....

I saw this bird sittin' at the top of this tree
bein' just as grand as he could be
and he was totally ignorin' me

He had far more interest
in stickin' out his chest
and warbling as loud as he could -
"Hey world - God is Good!"

He didn't care who saw or who heard
and I thought
                     I should be more like that bird
There's times when I should just shout out loud
"My God is great in the the earth and the clouds"
"I can't keep quiet, I just can't shut up
be offended or join me             but
I'll praise Him no matter what"...

NEVER FORGET to forgive those who sin against you.
Never forget to forget the wrongs that people do.
Never forget to return to your enemy
Love, Forgiveness and Mercy
It is only then, over them, we’ll have the Victory.

Vengeance is Mine, says The Lord, Mine alone to keep.
You have all gone astray, every one of you just like a flock of sheep.
You have no right to exact revenge against your motherland’s brother,
For another sin can never make right the grievous sin of another.
So lay down your arms
cease to do each other harm.
Make Love your weapon of choice.
Then we’ll see a new dawn arrive
and all the land will give voice
To a brand new reality –

“Behold how good and pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell in unity”

We're goin' where the road takes us,
trustin' in the Lord to wake us
to a new reality -
Majestic adventures, spiritually!

Don't know, don't care where we'll end up.
We're livin' the life called "Adventurous".
Our reality's better than any movie,
join us for the ride and you too will see -
Living by His Spirit's a grand destiny!

So let's let go of life's reins,
let's not abort what's been born again,
let's become God's best friends,
let's quit following earthly trends!

God's ways are so much better.
His thoughts are so much higher.
With Him you'll never be bored, not ever,
in Christ you'll labor but you won't get tired.

So I'm tellin' you straight
religion produces spiritual fakes,
outwardly looking and sounding right
but inwardly no resurrection life.

So often it's best to embrace the unknown,
where the Holy Spirit leads - go, just go!
Even if "where" is something you don't know,
when He calls, it's best to just follow....


Authors note: God is continually trying to wean us off of the Tree of the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil...we are so used to eating from it...in religious churches, they are constantly seeking knowledge...they sit around and the pastor dispenses it and they sit and swallow it, day after week after month....they always want to know! Where did you come from? Where are you going? Abraham was led by God into an UNKNOWN land....and he obeyed and went....they that are of the Spirit are like the wind...you cant tell where they are from or where they are going....this type of Saint, drives religious Christians nuts...but always remember, the wind is free to go wherever God sends it, it cannot be controlled by man, hallelujah! When we stop eating from the wrong tree, we become all about seeking HIM! His presence, not knowledge....AMEN.

Our life is like a staircase.
We can choose if we want to go down towards Hell or up towards Heaven.
We all know that going down stairs is easier than going up.
So that is why we need God.
If we choose to go down then God is on every step trying to turn us around so that we go up, towards Heaven.
If we choose to go up then God is on every step encouraging us and blessing  us.
If we stumble or fall God isnt going to leave us.
He will help us up and CATCH US IF WE FALL.
So which way will you choose?

This was a word given by the Lord to my eleven year old daughter, Karianna Michelle, recently.
She also recently said, and I quote, "In this world, our reward is the joy of helping other people".

Her words really bless me. She really does have a heart to help others. And when she said God will catch us if we fall, it really blessed me because the very first poem I wrote as a Christian was titled "Love will catch us when we fall".

A couple of things that I have found
No matter what happens to get you down
The world's gonna keep on spinning around
The sun will rise again
And whatever it is you're going through
You'll find that, as faithful as the sun and the earth -
our God is our friend
He really cares about us -
even when we've ignored him for a very long time.
Just talk to him again, he won't mind.
Even if you wait till you're dying on a tree
like the repentant thief, he will still receive you faithfully.

You say you want proof?
He only reveals himself to human hearts, not minds.
You can't know him intellectually
till you accept proof of a different kind
You have to soften your heart
You have to humble yourself
Open your heart to him and He'll keep you from Hell
He desires you - he really does
He wants to prove to you how much he loves
Once your heart is available to him
your mind will be filled with awe and wonder
at knowing the God who rides the thunder,
who calms the wind, who walks the water -
You'll be thrilled to personally know your heavenly Father
isn't out of your reach
but can be approached, can be beseeched
He's not distant and cold and unavailable
but he's near and dear and completely entreatable

The warmth of his touch, the sound of his voice
The truth is that he's made the choice
to be with you forever
If you'll simply value and treasure
him in return
Then the only way you'll burn
is with the intense love you share
with the one, true God who cares.....
